Christmas_in_Historic_Springboro 2One of the highlights of Christmas in Historic Springboro is the annual parade. The parade takes place at Noon on Saturday, November 18th and runs through the middle of town. The theme for this year’s parade and floats is, “All Aboard the Polar Express”. Get there early to secure your spot along the parade route.

PARADE PARTICIPANT INFORMATION

  • The entry deadline for this year is “November 13th”.
  • The floats must conform to the theme and will be judged beginning at “10:30 AM”.
  • lst, 2nd, & 3rd place trophies will be presented “11:30 AM with pictures”.
  • The parade starts promptly at “11:55 AM sharp on Saturday”.

Parade Route

  • Head North on Main Street from the staging area at Clearcreek Elementary.
  • Continue North to State Route 73.
  • Turn left/West onto the new right turn lane on Eastbound State Route 73.
  • Turn left/South onto Florence Drive.
  • Continue to Jonathan Wright Elementary and go left down the alley back to the staging area
  • Large tractor trailer rigs can proceed to Route 73 and go east to Richards Run to get back to the staging area

Arrival Times

  • Floats need to be in position by 10:15 AM
  • All motorized vehicles should be in position by 10:45 AM
  • All participants including animals need to be in position by 11:15 AM
  • The FIRST and LAST word is SAFETY
  • Do NOT block the entry ways
  • Pedestrians must remain aware of moving vehicles in the staging area!
  • Do NOT throw candy – you may hand out candy by someone walking with your float
  • No Santas
